Wonderful news! In less than two weeks, Alex fully edited all 19 chapters of Blood of Midnight: The Broken Prophecy. Spectacular work! Now I must buckle down and implement the necessary changes and it will be back in his hands for a second round.
I must admit, I’ve been sweating over the winter deadline a bit, but no more! Feels great to be back in action after a nice, restful Thanksgiving long weekend.
Hurrah! I finally finished my wall display. And in all the days I’ve been working with my art scalpel with never an injury … I cut my dang finger on the extra paper that I was stuffing into the recycling. Go figure.
It looks much better when lit obviously but I won’t be able to snap a photo of that until after sundown. The boxes are all repurposed from things I’ve bought like a kitchen scale or laptop or what-have-you. Painted black. The pictures are cut from old calendars while the mask and pseudo jack o’ lantern (Box o’ lantern?) were my creations. Hurray for reusing things!

I’m pretty excited to find out about my ancestors. Last year around this time, I heard of this Genographic Project but didn’t have enough money for the 200.00CAD at that time. And it’s been a good one so far! I’m now about one and a half chapters into writing the sequel to my current novel Blood of Midnight: The Broken Prophecy, Alex sent me six chapters of edited work for me to dig into, and I picked up some lights for my Halloween decorations.
Not bad at all.
I love this time of year. I’ve been busy in the kitchen all day and just took a breather.
