Autumn Foodstuffs

I love this time of year. I’ve been busy in the kitchen all day and just took a breather.

What have I been up to? Making four litres of home-made yogurt, doing up a huge stock pot full of soup,

Shredding ginger and sticking it in the dehydrator so I can have ginger tea whenever I like without having to drink inventive “blends” like lemon-ginger (lemon does not soothe the stomach), or mint-ginger-fennel (*vomits*).

And baking a sweet pumpkin for pumpkin pie later.

Never eat the canned stuff if you can help it. Ewwww. So over-priced and tasteless. Well, back to work. Thanks for stopping by!
