The Lights Come On

Yesss, things are lighting up in the Adamant Studio! Here are some progress shots of Ramiel and Ouriel shaped and fitted for lights.

I currently have to engage the light with a pencil as crafting the button comes at a later stage. But you can certainly get a feel for what they will look like when finished.

The button will sit just beneath the middle finger of the right hand for Ouriel, and the left hand for Ramiel as most people dual wielding a sword and dagger keep the knife in the left for blocking. Hence the term “main-gauche” in French fencing, literally: “left hand”.

Lastly, just for fun, I snapped a selfie after a long day at the belt sander. Chewie really throws a lot of snow!

I’m convinced this is why Iron Sisters wear white.
