Shiny?

I’ve been working on more versions of my guillotine pins and magnets. So far, I’ve painted a couple in red, left one as its natural pine colour, and stained one with black walnut ink.

I wanted to ask your opinion about the finish! The two on the left have a glossy varnish on them while the two on the right have a matte varnish. Which do you like better?

I’ve fixed a magnet to one of my prototypes and a pin onto another. I’m happy to report that they stick very well which is nice because I hate losing pins off my backpack.

Would you rather buy a pin or a magnet? Or both?
